I actually solicited Teak Closeouts for this post, since I was so excited to try out one of their beautiful benches for my front patio. They agreed to send me a 48" bench in their most popular style and I couldn't be happier with it.
If you follow me on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook you may have already seen a few photos about this because it was like Christmas the day it arrived on my front steps. (So funny how the box has a bow drawn on it!)
The kids IMMEDIATELY wanted to tear into it.
I kept putting it off since I thought it would take a while to assemble,
but the truth is that it was SUPER simple (easier than Ikea furniture!)
I actually intended to photograph the process, but it went so fast, and only involved a couple fasteners.. So all I ended up with was the "after" photo:
We love the curved back and seat, which is amazingly comfortable, and if you prefer a different arm style, there are multiple teak bench styles available, and most for under $200. That is a great price for solid teak furniture! I saw similar benches recently at our local home and garden show for more than double that!!
I ended up putting her on my front patio area, so I can sit back in the shade and relax while I watch the kids playing in the front. (I used to have to pop open a folding chair every time.. this is MUCH nicer!)
