It is the last day of Dollar Store Pumpkin Week. Wow! What a whirlwind! Today’s pumpkin is the only one that didn’t involve any glue, and it happens to be my kids’ favorite (they like the fact it has a leaf!)
I admit I have been really late to jump on the Washi tape train. I have NEVER EVEN USED IT! But today’s project changed all that.
When I was at Haven I received this free pack of Scotch Expressions Washi Tape. I thought this would be a great time to test it out:
I don’t really have step-by-step photos since it was basically: Stick tape on pumpkin. Ta-dah! (unlike the 8 hours I spent on the tufted pumpkin, or the hundreds of wood slices on the wooden pumpkin, this project took me about 2 minutes (and I didn’t burn my finger tips off). I love the pop of teal and the gray against the bright neon orange.
And here is the entire collection of Dollar Store Pumpkins, side by side:

Thanks so much for sticking with me for this crazy week. And if you hate pumpkins, well.. I’m tired of looking at them too. I promise not to post another pumpkin project for a while!
See you Monday!
