1 (1.5 pound) boneless pork roast
2 tsps ground sage
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 clovs garlic, crushed
Approximately 1 hour before you want to serve the roast, combine the following in a small sauce pan and heat (while stirring) until thickened:
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons soy sauce
I served ours with mashed garlic potatoes. It was delicious!
Okay, I'm totally trying this! It's always risky to try a recipe from pinterest, so I love getting good recommendations first! Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteI bough pork roast so I could try this. Fingers crossed it turns out well for me.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I marked this ( with your url ) to my favorites, and then my recipe folder. I have found that I can kill and dry out a pork chop easily so I usually do roasts in my slow cooker. I usually do Onions / Apples / Seasonings but I bought a pork tenderloin awhile ago when it was on sale and I am going to slow cook it with YOUR recipe on Sunday for my little grandson's birthday dinner here. It looked very good :)
ReplyDeleteHave you ever tried RIBS in a slow cooker ? If you do you'll probably do them that way every time as well ! :) TALK ABOUT FALL OFF THE BONE! :)
