  • 1/4 c. Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 Stick Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 c. Brown Sugar
  • Pinch of Salt
To begin you will need to preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Sugar being added to a resealable bag.

We need to give this monkey that delicious pumpkin spice flavor we all love so a resealable bag add the sugar,

Cinnamon being added to the resealable bag.

Cinnamon,

Ground ginger being added to the resealable bag.

Ground ginger,

Ground clove being added to the resealable bag.

 Ground nutmeg,

And ground clove.

The canned biscuits being cut into fours.

Now take the biscuits and cut them into fours and roll them into small balls.

The balls of dough being added to the resealable bag.

Add the dough balls to the resealable bag.

The balls of dough covered with the spice mixture.

Seal the bag (And trust me when I say MAKE SURE IT IS SEALED) and shake so that all of the dough balls are covered with the spice mix.

A stick of butter and brown sugar in a mixing bowl.

Now it's time to make the glaze for the monkey bread.
In a microwave safe bowl add the butter and brown sugar.

The butter and brown sugar melted together.

Place in the microwave until the butter has melted.
Whisk until smooth.

The pumpkin puree being added to the butter.

Now add the pumpkin and...

Salt being added to the butter and puree mixture.

A pinch of salt.

The butter mixture and puree smoothly mixed together.

Whisk together until smooth.

A little of the puree mixture being added to a bundt pan.

For this next part you are going to need a bunt pan that is WELL GREASED.  I'm talking every nook and cranny!

Pour a little of the puree mixture into the top of the pan then...

Pieces of dough being added to the bundt pan.

Now a layer of the dough balls.

The rest of the puree mixture being added to the bundt pan.

Continue layering until you have run out of dough balls.

The monkey bread ready to go in the oven.

Pour any of the puree mixture that is left on top and bake for 30-35 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven.

The monkey bread, fresh out of the oven.

After 30-35 minutes your monkey bread will look like this.

Now here is where this story takes a turn...DUN DUN DUN....

I would love to have a beautiful picture of this molded Pumpkin Monkey Bread, BUT after I had set everything up, I went into the kitchen to get my camera.  I heard a crash and instantly knew what happened...

My cat knock the monkey bread off of the cake stand and onto the floor, where he stood over it licking away.

Instantly I panicked, but then I went to the fridge grabbed the one can of biscuits I had left and made a small batch in these personal sized baking dishes.

The finished monkey bread.

And there you have it!  The perfect Pumpkin Monkey Bread.  Whether it is beautifully molded from a bunt pan or in a baking dish these sweet, warm, spicy, delightful morsels are the perfect companion to your morning coffee, an afternoon snack, or an evening dessert.

A piece of monkey bread about to be eaten.

And speaking of dessert, pardon me while I dig in!
