And often, as a mom, I worry about what the world is telling my kids. The messages that they hear every day, repeating in their heads and slowly chipping away at their self esteem. I don’t think kids can ever have too much encouragement.
So today, I’ve partnered with Revolution Foods to create a series of free printable lunch box notes that remind my kids just how special they are and how important it is to never let go of your dreams.
I chose 8 different messages that I want my kids to hear. Every time they open their lunch boxes I want them to find these encouraging messages.
Of course, I also want them to be at their best, which is why I have fallen in love with the entire line of Revolution Foods lunches.
For the younger crowd (like my 1st grader and toddler) Revolution Food's Jet Packs at the perfect solution for picky eaters. They have kid friendly flavors like popcorn chicken and turkey with crackers, but they contain no artificial flavors or preservatives. Plus each pack contains at least 10 grams of protein, which keeps their energy up for the long school day.
For more sophisticated palettes, like my 4th grader (and even myself..I confess, I have been eating them too!) there are Revolution Foods Lunch Bundles. These meals on the go are packed with tons of protein, and offer 3 different gluten free options. I actually feel great about sending these lunches with my kids since they contain healthy fats and proteins from things like seeds, nut butters, dried fruits, dark chocolate and even real Wisconsin cheddar.
Revolution Foods was founded by moms who wanted BETTER school lunches for their kids, which is exactly what I want for MY kids. I want a lunch that nourishes their bodies and their minds.
If you would like to share these words of encouragement I’ve included the printable PDF file for these notes at the bottom of this post
I printed mine onto card stock and cut them out with a scissors (although you could also have used a Silhouette or Cricut machine.
Every day I tape a new one to their lunches so they won't miss them.
I know the world can be a hard place to be a kid.. but I hope every time they open their lunch boxes, their world is a little brighter!
Revolution Foods lunch packs are available in local Bay Area stores. You can use the store finder to see if they are available by you and you can always find them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
