This month the All Things Creative team are brining you not one, not two, but THREE collections of amazing DIY projects all sorted by color. But not just ANY COLORS.. We are talking about projects in the patriotic colors of Red, White and Blue!
Isn’t that a fun idea? Instead of projects that scream “Fourth of July” we are celebrating the colors of the Stars and Stripes in a more subtle way. Each of these projects features a single color, not all three!
That means you could use most of these projects all year long. I thought I’d share a few of my favorites and then the entire collection. And let me tell you, the ladies of the ATC team did not disappoint.
RED DIY PROJECTS
This is still one of my favorite projects from my son’s nautical bedroom. I actually reversed stenciled a compass rose on top (leaving the original color of the piece showing through.
Red Potting Bench
This is one of my favorite red projects from the collection since it such a natural earthy color of red. And what a great build for the garden!
WHITE DIY PROJECTS
Milk glass Lamp MakeoverYou know I have a soft spot in my heart for milk glass, so of course this project would be a favorite. Paula took an already beautiful (albeit dated) lamp and gave it new life. I love the transformation.
Desk Chair Makeover
White projects are amazing to work on since the color always works a neutral and you can use them almost anywhere. That is definitely true of this chair makeover. With the gold accents, which also act as a neutral, you could pair this guy with almost any piece and it would work perfectly!
BLUE DIY PROJECTS
Blue Stepladder Makeover
If you love cheap, then we could be friends, because any project that turns trash to treasure is okay in my book.. and this project hits that mark. I love the blue color on this ladder.
Stenciled Desk Accessories
Not all DIY projects have to be major furniture builds and makeovers. Smaller projects, like this simple desk accessories paint job can bring a touch of color to your life.
